When food is so beautiful, it not only appeals to the palate but also to the intellect. One thinks about where it comes from and all the skills that have gone into making it both appetizing and appealing.
I found a piece of the white chocolate and cranberry tart mentioned in the previous blog post Sharing Christmas Meals, so I have put it as the featured image for this post. I tried a little and I can assure you that it tastes as good as it looks. Like many people, I caught the year-end flu and lost my appetite for days, but the tart still tasted good.
My friend Feisan usually sends me interesting photos. Yesterday she sent me a photo of edible flowers. She found a pack and she decided to try them. She put some in a drink and said that they did not have much taste. The bigger flowers didn’t taste too good, but they did make everything look beautiful. They looked best on fruits.

Adelina, another friend, always sends photos of beautiful flowers. Somehow the beauty of nature has a healing effect.

I have discovered that painting flowers is very therapeutic.
